Hey Bhuvaneswary!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Aalya. I went through your list of recommendations and it sounds very useful since I don't intend to join any coaching classes either. Could you give me the list of books for the preparation of Forestry? If you can then please mail me at
aalya.1.28.93@gmail.com.
I hope to receive your response soon.
Aalya.
And yes, A very hearty congratulations. :-)
ReplyDeleteI m a graduate in electronics and communication engineering..want to study agriculture..what will be the preparation time for main?
ReplyDeleteAs you are not from Agriculture background, it may be difficult to follow the subject. Still, you are really interested, you may have to prepare for at least 8 hours study for 2-3 months will do. You can think of some other subject also. But, first you should go through the syllabus and the previous years questions of the same, then you can decide about the subject.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your response and i ll adhere to the 8 hour preparation time.. I am from Chennai, can you give me a suggestion for any coaching or guidance I can get for agriculture. Also please give a sugestion for the second optional subject which I can read in the remaining time as these subjects are new to me.Thank you once again.
ReplyDeleteThere is no special guidance for Forestry. But, you can get the same in few Institutes where the coaching is given for the Civil Services Examination. If you can get some special guidance from some experts with special focus on this will be more useful. The second optional may be Geology, which will be easy to follow and you need not go for any coaching also. Same time you can think of Botany also as an optional as there will be some similarity with Agriculture. It is not recommended because both subjects should not be NEW for you in this regard. You can also get some personal guidance from one of the moderator also. You can send a mail to indian.examination@gmail.com
