Important announcement from UPSC regarding CSAT Exam 2011
The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2011 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, the 12th June, 2011 at 45 Centers / Cities across the country. Admission Certificates (ACs) to all the admitted candidates of the above Examination have since been dispatched by Post.
2. The Commission is in receipt of representations from some candidates whose
Candidature had been rejected on the ground of leaving blank the first bubble for the Date or Month in the Date of Birth column in their off‐line Application Forms for the above Examination.
All such cases have been reviewed by the Commission and all such candidates have since been admitted to the above Examination. The Admission Certificates (ACs) of such admitted candidates have been dispatched by Post.
3. The Commission has uploaded the updated admission / rejection status as well as Venue Information of the admitted candidates on its website http://www.upsc.gov.in. All applicants / candidates are advised to visit the Commission’s website for updated status of their application / candidature for the above Examination. In case any admitted candidate does not receive the Admission Certificate by 11th June 2011, he / she is required to carry a print out of the Venue Information from the Commission’s website along with two passport size photographs (one each for each Session) and a photo ID proof to the center / sub center concerned to appear at the above Examination.
4. A Control Room in UPSC will be functional on 9th, 10th and 11th of June 2011 from 08:30 Hrs to 19:30 Hrs. On the day of Examination i.e. Sunday the 12th of June 2011, the Control Room in the UPSC will be operational from 06:30 Hrs.
