A Standing Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Statistician of India & Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) looked into various aspects of work with technical support provided by a Working Group
State Level Coordination Committees under the chairmanship of Chief Secretaries and District Level Coordination Committees under the chairmanship of District Collectors constituted for smooth conduct of the Census
Overall coordination at all-India level and guidance provided by the Economic Statistics Division of CSO (Central Statistical Organization)
