Dr. A. Surya Prakash today took charge as the Chairman of Prasar Bharati Board.
He has been appointed for a term of three years. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Surya Prakash said Prasar Bharati needs to focus on delivering quality news and programmes.
Dr Surya Prakash has vast experience in both television and print media. He has held key positions in several print and electronic media organizations.
He is currently Consulting Editor of the Pioneer. He was Editor, Zee News, India Editor of Asia Times, Political Editor of Eenadu Group of Newspapers and Chief of Bureau, Indian Express, New Delhi.
